All across this great state of mine there are craftsmen and women who carve their livelihoods from their imaginations.  They do this to illustrate the love they have for the state they live in, and the pride they have for the people who are their neighbors.  I would like to share some of that pride with you.

The featured Made in Montana business is from an amazing art gallery and studio in Corvallis, Montana, Aspen Hot Glass.  The owners, Bill & Rae Grout, live in the heart of the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana.  They each had different lives before becoming "Artisans in the Old World sense" making delicate, exquisite creations from "earth and fire."  But it is in their lives now where "the beauty and serenity of the environment in which they live is fused into the glass pieces they create."   It is my honor to share with you a small piece of that magic.
